Hello,
I really like the kwin feature where you can hide the menubar on the top screen: System settings -> Apllication appearance -> Style - Menubar style: top screen menubar But..., when you have an application which isn't maximized or located (near) the top screen you really have long way up there. Thats why I would like to have the option to have the menu available as a button on the title bar, but also on the top screen. So you can choose per situation/window whatever is closer. This option would be just another entry in the above mentioned combo-box: "top screen & title bar button" or something like that. Since both features are already available, this seems to me, as only little effort to implement. |

What about making it more generic: allow selecting of multiple options? Instead of adding the option for "top screen & title bar button", why not make those checkboxes that can be individually selected. In my case I would like to have export (for krunner) + in applications (I'm not as concerned about vertical screen space)

Would also be nice if there was an option for a wider title bar button since there are lots and lots of unused horizontal space. Like in Firefox. It could be a text that user could alter (default could be "Menubar" or similar) if that's possible.

Yep, that sounds even better. Yes, I would like to have this, too. But I guess this would qualify for an extra request, also I don't know if it possible to place different buttons in the titlebar. |
