that says it ....I wish I could just have a differant wallpaper on each virtual Desktop without having to reset all the widgets.
I want only to have differing wallpapers without enabling differant widgets. It seems to me it was an available feature in kde3 I dunno. It would create less overhead Im sure. Feh is not suported ..So I know of no options. Maybe it could be an 'effect'. Anyways I KNOW a lot of people would prefer this route....... somebody please! |

+1
Also: "System Settings => Workspace Behaviour => Virtual Desktops => Different widgets for each Desktop" isn't very easy to find when one is looking for different wallpapers. Yeah, now you just need to point them here ... Unfortunately the KDE community seems to be rather lazy / inactive in this regard. |

[idea=]well Im not so much concerned over the'finding it hard to find the seperate widgets per desktop' setting
as I am about not seperating the wallpapers modularity. I dont want to tweak and remake every desktop when I only want differant wallpapers per desktop. These settings dont need to be any more intuitive than they already are in my view. Too many nOOBs want things easier when they need only experiance. KDE is well documented, the research and learning process is implcit. Im more interested in the ability to do something. And Im far from being alone with this particlar desire. It would be an asset......to simply have differing wallpapers with the same desktop settings otherwise across multiple desktops. Its not a complaint.[/idea] |
