Hi all,
I've been using KDE full-time now in Debian Jesse for about a month and a half and haven't looked back, I wanted to thank you all for this beautiful DE. I've tried it in the past but never "forced" myself to use it for more than an hour or so. By forcing myself to use it for a week, after day 2, I was convinced that this is the GUI for me =) Now onto my idea. I have a multimonitor setup, and have set up a shortcut for "Present Windows", which I use all the time. What I was able to do in Gnome with a similar feature was drag/place a window onto another screen while in this mode. I constantly am moving windows around and very much miss this feature. I would love to see it implemented in KDE/Kwin. Thank you for any input, and please let me know if you need more information. I'm glad to become part of the KDE community! |

Hi lns.
What does this shortcut do? Which mode? Sorry, your feature isn't clear at all. Please give (way) more information, maybe in a step by step explanation. Chances are this is already possible in KDE/kwin. |

No.
He's got a dualscreen setup, triggers the "present windows" effect (aka "Exposé") and wants to move a window from one screen to another using the effect. This is possible in the "desktop grid" effect (since you want to be able to move windows between VDs in a "common" single screen setup), but "present windows" does not allow moving windows around (since it only makes sense in the "rare" multiscreen setup case, now don't start to argue, i've two screens as well |
