Hi,
It would be better to think of a new menu. My idea is based on ElementaryOS.org which is in my opinion one of the most successful in terms of design.
With QtQuick, is it not possible to make a Lancelot with:
- The same principle design of ElementaryOS menu (eg: display grid detaché panel)
- Features same as the current version of Lancelot (research and application nepomuk)

There are already three menu that includes these elements:
- Takeoff
- Appmenu QML
- Lancelot

Instead of working independently on three different projects, we must combine efforts to obtain a modern application.
