klook by default in the KDE?

Wed Feb 19, 2014 4:53 pm
Hi,

ROSA made quite some of improvements and additions to the KDE, but the one that sticks out is klook. Simple, universal, file viewer in the spirit of quicklook from OSX. Why not include it in the default KDE?

Well, I think that the main point of klook is not the speed, but it's simplicity: it allows to open any interesting file, either pdf, picture, sound or video in the very same tiny application with very sam interface. If you have, for instance, folder with few pictures, pdf and a short movie you can either open everything in the gwenview, okular and smplayer just to take a look at the content or use klook and walk trough files with the arrows.
