Hello!

After a lot of discussion Ubuntu added privacy settings to control which programs and file types are recorded by and then added to the "recent documents" functionality of Unity.

KDE should add the same option to control the behaviour of the "recent documents" shown in the Kicker menu and dolphin.
I would suggest to add some configuration options to the peronal account settings within the systemsettings panel. Or add another subpanel "privacy settings" to the systemsettings.
