on the right-hand side, have a dockable (also password lockable, for nosey people on your machine) that integrates: messages via e.g. x-chat, email, facebook, & every other social thing, maybe partly using email to subscribe/check, as well as optionally OS events (say a copy paste, plus a cron job - etc etc etc), to integrate all *user-important computer events into one activity ticker, for reference / mental guidance*.

maybe like you me you think the RSS ticker (the plasma widget wont' stay on top so already this would be a feature suggestion) is enough - i can't get X-chat messages in my RSS, or local/ftp/some http computer events, like copy-pastes or logins.

i think this is my best idea for these & was going to base a possibly-commercial app around this *but instead opted to give it to my favorite free, open source OS DE, KDE. *please make good use of this!**

thanks for reading, i would love a facebook-style activity ticker for my own computer! let's get subscribey lol.
