Hello!

There is a big privacy problem with the non customizability of "recent documents" and "recent applications".

It is not desirable to have all your recent documents recorded in "recent documents" neither all your recent apps in "recent apps" for example in the kicker menu...

Ubuntu solved this by privacy settings: You can choose which applications are recorded and which are not...

It has not to be the Ubuntu way but there has to be a possibility to control or at least switch off this "recording and showing everything"!
