I'm writing with a feature request for a future release of Kdenlive:

Background:
When hovering the mouse pointer over a button on the screen, a little tooltip pops up saying the action each tool performs.

Feature Request:
Add to each tooltip the keyboard stroke(s) needed to activate that button without reaching for the mouse. This will make it much faster for new users to learn the keyboard strokes to speed up the workflow.

Additionally, it would be great to have a way for the Kdenlive project to accept donations from us appreciative users into a dedicated fund. Then when developers find they have time to really focus on kdenlive and make it better, there will be a fund waiting to cover living expenses. We really do appreciate this open source program, and are thankful it exists, and want to support it so it becomes as good as any other commercial video editor.
