Kinfocenter / Ksystemlog combination

Ksystemlog doesn't appear to be very active. Why not put the functionality of Ksystemlog INTO Kinfocenter? Seems to me that Kinfocenter would be the natural application to contain system log reports anyway. Kinfocenter would be a handy and useable application to aggregate information about one's system.
