I do miss OS/2 (PM + WPS were posssibly the most user-friendly UIs ever for PC (I also love 3270, btw, S/390 was not PC, console emulatorsss were though. Anyway, it would be very convenient if KDE would take on some of OS/2's GUI-keyboard shortcuts:, as listed on this site: http://aggedor.freeshell.org/os2key.html
Alt-F4 Close the foreground window (we all know this one; tabs are closed with Ctrl+W in KDE, that is cool) Alt-F5 Maximizes the foreground window Alt-F7 Moves the foreground windows (with cursor keypad) Alt-F8 Resizes the foreground window (with cursor keypad) Alt-F9 Minimizes the foreground window Alt-F10 Maximizes the foreground window Alt-F11 Hides the foreground window It would be so cool if these shortcuts/hotkeys could be implemented in KDE. Thanks in advance! |
