I use dolphin, with the folder panel enabled to show the folder tree on the left of the window. When I navigate folders in the main panel by double-clicking on folders, the folder panel shows automatically the current folder as selected in the folder tree.

If current folder is shown as closed in the folder panel (children folders are not shown), and I double-click in the main panel on a child folder, then the folder is opened in the folder panel, and the child that corresponds to current folder is selected. That is ok, but the folder panel only auto-scrolls vertically, so as I navigate into more deep levels, the current folder is shown more and more on the right, until it nearly disappears, or even it desappears completely.

So I would like the horizontal auto-scroll to be improved, in order to show completely current selected folder (or as much as possible, depending on the size of the folder panel). Also, vertical auto-scroll could be improved too in order to show current selected folder in the vertical center of the folder panel (currently it is shown in the vertical bottom when I navigate deeply). And, to be perfect, I would like children folders (of the current (selected) folder) to be shown automatically in the folder panel, without having to click on the arrow.

I think that, with the three suggested improvements, the use of dolphin will be more nice and productive.

Thank you
