Hello everyone gladly, I have several years using KDE. It is a complete desktop and which I have been out all these years.
But lately due to the demands of my work and as I advanced in my life in the field of technology; I realize the need to KDE of the management of "switching between screens and screen mirroring all in one"that is if I have connected a projector. As the image of Windows 7 Because it is a real pain having to go to the system preferences to be setting you connect each screen, nothing takes time to manage it automatically and give you the options. And see how this idea can be improved, he had thought that lately everything is in this for the "Screen Mirroring" advantage because I see this as progress regarding Plasma-Mobile and KDEConnect. Imagine being able to do screen mirroring from your phone to your computer or your computer to your TV (if you have clear support and whether it would be wired). It would be excellent. So would create a great app to manage all this projectors, screens and TVsmart both VGA, HDMI, DVI or USB cable (as some projectors have USB) or with screen mirroring. I hope I can help the project because KDE has given me so much. Best regards from San Marcos, Ocotepeque, Honduras. |

Hi,
Something that may help, there is a widget called 'quick display configuration' (it says on mine the author is dan vratil from red hat), which you can add to your desktop. I have it added to the desktop of my second screen - so every time i plugin a new monitor, that comes up on the desktop, with various basic options - and also a one click quick option to bring up advanced config for display options. that might help you a bit. |

Thanks for the answer but that's not the idea, what it is is that this is something native in Plasma: it is an extra Gnome and gave importance to this. And I think everything is in favor of usability. Greetings from Honduras |
