I don't know if anyone else would find this useful (I would).
What I'd like to see is the ability to open multiple folders & their sub-folders of a directory, or folder in a directory so as to make the contents of a main folder visible in one go, instead of manually opening each folder individually. If you have quite a number of folders/sub-folders (like I do), it can take rather a long time to open all of them.

e.g.
a folder named 'Films', 'Series' etc... with a alphanumeric sub-folders, such as 0-9, A..Z
and in each folder is another folder with the title of a film or series and in the series one, there's 'Season 01', Season 02', Season 01', etc...

Great idea. Definitely we sould be able to Ctrl + Click on the > sign, or something similar, to unfold all subfolders in a particular folder, and repeat the same to refold it.
A pity I just can vote once... xD

It should be possible to implement this as a context menu entry. Together with a keyboard shortcut you'd have exactly what is described here.

The main task probably is to find the right dbus hooks to fire the exand events. Afterwards it is just juggling with node ids and iterating through the subtree.
