For those unfamiliar with this widget from KDE 4 it could be described as a permanent clipboard where named snippets of text (or commands) could be easily accessed and then pasted where needed

I'm putting my vote behind this one, too. Just upgraded from 14.04 LTS to 16.04.1 and I didn't expect to find so few Plasma 5 widgets. [off to see how hard porting can be...]
