Hi,
there is probably already a solution for this. Assume I want to test some package that installs lots of dependencies. Or I want to test some package and see if it does what I expect (e.g. fix an issue). If I'm not satified with the result, I want to do a rollback and revert the installed packages to the state before I did the test. Therefore a snapshot of the installed packages (e.g. save their names) is required. And of course an option to reset the state to such a snapshot (remove not listed, re-install listed). Is there a graphical tool that does this? There is Aptik but I haven't tried it yet. IMO it would also make sense to add such a feature to muon.
