Hello, I'd suggest a feature that can be found in the OSX dock in Elementary OS dock, and the dock of Unity in Ubuntu. This is the icons show a badge with the number of unread notifications. I know that this is possible to do, because in the latest versions of plasma we can see when we copied or downloaded a file. How cool would that be also displayed with other applications such as mail clients, IM clients, etc ..

With the panel applet Task Manager icons only, it would look great
