Folder backgorund in Dolphin

Thu Jul 07, 2016 12:55 pm
In KDE 3, Konqueror had an option that is also present in Windows Explorer: the ability of setting a personalized background when visiting a concrete folder. If Dolphin could set an image/color/pattern/whatever for folders it would make the more distinguishable, avoiding those moments of "Where the hell I am?" that sometimes "suffer" many of us especially when you left a Dolphin instance open, go to do other things and come back a while later; or when we have several instances of Dolphin and Alt+Tab to switch to any of them but all the thumbnails loot roughly the same, it would be much visually clearer if they had different bacgrounds; it also would be practical for a folder configured to show thumbnails to set a dark background for said folder or for a folder with important or urgent content to set a redish background. And I think the examples of utile uses could be as numerous as users are there.
Could this be reimplemented?
