I think kmail is great! I own my own domain and like to use random email addresses for different sites. One of the few things that bother me about kmail and leads me back to mutt is that I have to create a new sender account (or change the old one I suppose) for responses. With mutt, it's a simple config item 'alternates "\*@domain\.net" that automates the process for each unique address.

I realize this is a fairly niche setup so maybe there is not interest in putting work into this idea but it would be a giant improvement for my use case. Thanks!
