Most average computer users spend their time, apart from Web browsing and email using, viewing things and very occasionally editing things. In keeping with this year's theme of porting applications to various platforms, marble digikam krita etc, I would LOVE if this could be done for the apps that we all use more than any other and take for granted, that is, the viewers, document and picture. Ie okular and gwenview. Porting these, not only to windows Mac and Android would go a long way to building a solid infrastructure for plasma mobile too. I realise okular has many dependencies and the upcoming release perhaps on calligra word too, but it has to be resolved, also I feel this will increase the manpower effort into developing these comparatively less contributed to apps, okular needs a lot of work in some areas and gwenview is great but could learn a few tricks from geeqie that most of my photo enthusiast colleagues prefer to use. While I'm here i may add that it would be good to see colorpick and screenshot application spectacle get the same attention.
