I love how Plasma 5 looks with dark themes, but there are always some applications on which dark themes don't work properly. I would like to have the option to have a general color theme and a different one for specific apps that don't work with that general one, a kind of fallback system.
For example. I would like to set my theme to breeze dark, but to have the default breeze on libreoffice and mendeley desktop. I don't know how hard this would be to implement.

Thanks!
I was going for something a little different, but this is a valid workaround. |

If I understand correctly, you want a way to centrally manage the exceptions without having to manually find and modify the launchers to set up the color scheme overrides
In other words, you want something in System Settings where you can say: For these applications, use this color scheme (instead of the default) and have it make whatever changes necessary and keep track of those things for you.

Yes!
That's what I want! Under System Settings/Colors, I would like to be able to add a list of applications that would run in a fallback theme. Then I could choose Breeze Dark as default and Breeze as fallback for those specific apps. Thanks for giving this some attention. |
