LU Decomposition Without Typedef

Sat Jan 07, 2017 1:04 am
I'm a noob and not a particularly skilled C++ coder. However, I've been trying to write a calculating program that uses the Eigen libraries, and I find it difficult to implement the LU Decomposition module. Is it reasonable to suggest that the current LU Decomposition module could be made usable with matrices of unspecified dimensions? I find this is a huge stumbling block to using it, although maybe it's just my own lack of experience. I'd just like to implement it as a function without requiring a typedef declaration each time for the matrix dimensions. I've got some code written that will do this, and I'm willing to submit it (however badly written it may be).

EDIT: Nevermind, after giving it some thought I can see why a typedef is important here, and it's not as hard to use as I had originally thought. Sorry.
