So i have a Huion pen tablet. And one of the main problems that popped up about a couple months into use is that it clicks when the pen is near the drawing surface, even if it isn't directly touching the surface in any way. This is just plain annoying but i cant get a new one due to lack of money. I try my best to make do, and pressure works as normal so i can draw and use Krita like usual. But there is a problem:
Krita will register the tablets clicking in a way where it thinks that the lines i am making are all registered as one line. Not to mention any other click-based tools like the grab tool in order to move the canvas, and its hard to make the grab tool actually let go where i want it. I think that giving an option in the tablet settings where a user can turn off registering the click from the tablet, and then allow the user to set a custom threshold where 'At this point when i press down on the tablet, start registering my stroke as one line'. This would certainly help me in particular given that it would make the undo key a lot less infuriating as i accidentally sketch half my face in one line unknowingly from my tablet behaving like it is, and then saw it disappear entirely as i pressed ctrl-z to fix a small mistake i made, so it would either be sketch the entire face again or go to the eraser tool and hope i don't erase something important, both very time consuming, not to mention that the eraser would also have the same problem where it would all be registered as one stroke unless I lift my hand uncomfortably away from the tablet. Implementing this would severely improve my work flow as well as make me able to lengthen the lifespan of my tablet, so that if something like this occurred with something much more expensive, i would just have to change a setting and be able to still use it as normal(well, in krita at least ).
