is it Possible to add an Play sound option to the eggtimer / timer / Hourglass (German: Eieruhr) Plasmoid that would be nice,
I use it as an "Tea Timer" and when i play games in fullscreen dont see the plasmoid.

The plasma 5 timer widget has an option to execute commands: Timer settings > Advanced. You could add there the 'play' command.

That is a bit advanced for the casual user. I think changing it to tie into the notification system would be better so that they can configure it like other notifications and select whether they want it to play a sound, display a pop up, run a command, or whatever else you can do with them.

You could use kteatimer instead.
