Hi all,
I suggest to include in Display and Monitor settings an option to enable/disable screen auto-rotation based on laptops/tablet with accelerometers. Besides auto-rotation through integration with an accelerometer support, touchscreen and pen inputs should rotate automatically too (viewtopic.php?f=83&t=97160&p=204875&hilit=screen+rotation#p204875). There are some scripts and configurations available made by community that maybe be incorporated (for example, https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Tablet_PC). Otherwise, this project may be part of another development on an "Tablet mode" for KDE Plasma. So, this suggestion may be related to others for example in viewtopic.php?f=114&t=85576&p=149407&hilit=touchscreen#p149407 |

I need this feature. I have a Dell 2 in 1 laptop that I want to use in tablet mode. So far the only distribution I have found that auto-rotates the screen is Elementary OS which isn't exactly user friendly itself other than the auto screen rotation feature.
