This is my first contribution even though I use KDE since it's first version.

I saw this guy growing and changing all the DE's from anywhere in the globe.

Recently Firefox made a change that I liked a lot, you could implement this with easy, since there is already a speaker icon displayed at the bar when app is playing sound, just make it clickable so people can easily mute/unmute that app (just like firefox do within the tabs).

That's it, very simple, but very functional as KDE is.
