Hi:
After years using the beatiful KDE Desktop in Debian, I found myself fighting with the new plasma 5 KDE en Debian 9.
Hoping that one year is enough time to fix all the new problems that plasma 5 brought to the Desk, I find the same problems in Debian 9.3.
Not only the funcionallity was downgraded also the artwork is low quality and poor in plasma 5.
I am really sorry to see that very good and beatiful plasma 4 is dead.

It is not. I have to admit though in Debian it was a poor experience for me too. In Stretch. Plasma version 5.6.

Plasma 4 is deprecated. That's the nature of progress. Unavoidable.

May we ask you, why you post such general criticism in a forum called "brainstorm"?

Your post is a general rant against everything.
That by itself is absolutely OK, though not exactly helpful.

This place however is for _constructive_ input, ideas people with to get implemented.
