Hi,
In Illustrator I'm able to hold down an assigned keystroked pen button and swipe the pen on the tablet to quickly zoom to the level that I want which is extremely useful, in Krita I'm only able to assign either zooming in or out which only jumps in steps...this is very frustrating...in fact it's close to a deal breaker. So Illustrator uses a held down keystroke and the motion of the mouse or pen to adjust the zoom level...it zooms as quickly as I move the pen and gets very precise as I slow down, not relying on the continuous keystroke to adjust the zoom level steps. Having Pan and Zoom assigned to my tablet pen (I use an Intuos4) increases my productivity tenfold! The only thing that would make it better is if it was a toggle...so as soon as I would let go of the pen/mouse button it would revert back to the tool that I was using! Thanks, Paul |
