Hello everyone.

I know that in Windows the "Reference image" doker caused the application to crash and has been replaced by the "Reference Images" tool.
The efficiency of this tool is by no means comparable to the suppressed doker and therefore I strongly recommend that you restore the doker "Reference image" at least in the Linux version.

Krita users who agree with this suggestion are asked to add a comment to underline this request.

Thank you all.

I want to note a couple of things, saw your report too, and thus first let me point out that similar dialog already exist, but I would like to recommend you to keep the Krita topics within the Krita section of the KDE Forum, (or you will not get any answers from those who don't beyond that subsection), KDE forums is too big to find this threads :)

I would also like to recommend to look for existing bugs/reports, forums topics, as with this one, there is already material out there, making more topics reports would not help on keeping a meaningful dialog.

Lastly, the docker in question was simply not working, that specific peace of code is gone for good, instead the focus is in maintaining and if possible/viable improve the new reference images tool, is new, thus still has the possibility to evolve. To keep it short, I would just paste the link related to the dialog so you can see that there is people already asking for similar request, once there is consensus on specific details, only then a well done request can be made (although not guaranteed). :)
