asistant tool to follow vecor art layout

Is it possible to convert vector art that I have created as an assistant curve?

(I can spend a lot of time illustrating and creating art using the vector paths. It would be great to have those already created paths as an assistant tool path that I can follow with a raster brush to touch up the art)
