I haven't been on KDE for a long time but I have seen the nice improvements over KDE4. I haven't been using KDE because I don't like any of the application menu options. In the future could the KDE developers add a Qt based Whisker menu that can be resized and be exactly like on Xfce?

Besides the application launcher menus that are built in, you can peruse the selection of 3rd party launcher menus available at
https://store.kde.org/browse/cat/418/ord/latest/ These can generally be installed using Discover. You should point out what specific features of the Whisker menu you are most interested in. Depending on what you want there may yet be other options for you. If a Non-fullscreen launcher menu lacks resize handles (i.e. you can't resize using the borders), you should be able to resize it using alt+right-click-and-drag (like other windows).

What I am looking for is a menu for KDE that looks, preforms, and can be re-sized manually that has exactly all the feature as it has in Xfce. |

Not everyone who uses these forums is familiar with all of the other products out there, so please be explicit about the behavior that you want such a menu to exhibit (and how it is different from the available offerings).

O.K., that's understandable. Sorry for the lengthy video but it explains the Whisker menu the best and would be a nice addition to one of the application menu options in KDE Plasma. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjRre2Aw_7I

I'm still not seeing what features or functionality are present in the Whisker menu that are lacking from the default application launcher menus provided by Plasma. The non-fullscreen launchers provide all of the look and feel that I'm seeing the Whisker menu provide: resizable, display list of favorites as well as present a category-based menu of applications, include icons for shutdown/restart/logout/etc., allow searching by just typing when the menu is opened, allow editing items or adding items to the favorites, desktop or panel by right-clicking on them
After using and exploring the available options, what is it that you feel is lacking compared to the Whisker menu (besides their not being the Whisker menu or having a slightly different look-and-feel)? or how would you change one/any of them to match your expectations?
