Add DKIM support in kmail.

Tue Sep 25, 2018 6:20 pm
Hi,

being able to add a DKIM signature in the mail directly from Kmail would be very nice to allow maximum deliverability with custom domain email addresses!

You should be able to set the signature in kmail via Settings -> Configure KMail -> Identities -> select the identity -> Modify... -> Signature.

Thank's a lot, but I don't see how. DKIM signature must be on mail header, and depends on checksum on the email's content. Do you have more details, on how to do that?

I don't. I guess I was a little confused by the ambiguous use of "signature" - a cryptographic key vs. a standard snippet attached to the end of messages.

Any idea if this has happened?

Using kmail Version 5.14.2 (20.04.2) and can't see anywhere to set the private keys

Obviously not, else it would have been marked as implemented

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
