Hey there,
I've noticed that in Krita we are able to use multiple sub windows for one file, which is good but not good enough. As for example in Photoshop you can open sub windows of the same file that can be moved to other screens ( out of the software's main window in general). This is especially problematic for me, since most of the time I like to record my process for videos and I'd like to have a full screen resolution on those. And since I move and canvas quite a lot during the process, when the recorded session is sped up, it becomes unbearable to watch. That's why, Krita in that matter, doesn't help much. Maybe, instead of making the sub windows movable to other screens possible, you can make the "new window" option in the menu Window updated on every action if the file is opened twice ( as an alternative solution). In addition to this, the other problem would be the limited space of the screen and having 2 sub windows opened on the same one is quite too much next to the interface that already takes a lot. The other idea is probably already suggested but I'll still put it in here in case it isn't. Again like in Photoshop, every docker has a different small icon when minimized. This allows me for example to minimize some dockers that I don't need in a specific moment but will need through the process. So, it makes it easier to re open those specific dockers instead of going all the way back to the menu. Other than that, Krita is definitely one of the best softwares to work on at the moment. Keep up the good work! |
