kde neon = best experience of all linux - systems (i don't want to call it a classical "distro" because of the information on your homepage, but the term "hybrid-distro" would be ok i think).
clear, tidy, powerful, playful/fun, efficient use, natural snap & flatpak support ("discover" has really evolved to the best), delivered without bloatware/too much applications (to give the user freedom again and let him decide for what he wants to install and use and what not), stable, resource efficient in terms of ram/cpu usage, anti-eye-cancer-featured thanks to clear fonts/scaling .. .. and so on. so everything you can't expect from most other linux systems - imho, based on "trying". thx. only an upgrade of the kernel was necessary because the touchpad was not recognized and it turned out that it was due to the old kernel itself:
and the problem's solved. just a simple suggestion (sry for o.t. before) : panel-transparency should be (naturally) adjustable (ergo no hacks, without downloading "breeze-transparent" or "latte dock" (with 13 dependencies) et cetera ). everything possible in this respect can now be set, except for the panel (e.g. simply right-click on the panel (when mini-programs are unlocked) and a transparency - menu/option in it). result: a more transparent standard-breeze theme - the way above - would be highly welcome. greetz mart |
