Add to progress/task notification similar dialog/options, like in other events, so I can order to play music, when some file operation completes. This could be configurable in task-fashion, so each file copy would have different configuration. User start operation firstly and (in next step) configure to run script, play sound, display message, when event completes (if it is possible split configuration to two weird states, like completes without errors and completes with error).
Additionally, there could exist KDEConnect integration, so phone could show message, when task is done.

How is this different from the configuration currently available in System Settings -> Notifications? Using that you can already go in and enable/disable/configure various notifications by event type.

Difference is simple. Type of notification is not task end notification. I can order to copy file from location A to location B, but else order to download file. I don't care, when file from my local drive was duplicated, but need to be informed on my Android device, when file was downloaded.

For example I can order my PC to shutdown, when file is downloaded. It's feature for normal users. He/She could download new notification script, select file to download in Firefox/Konqueror/etc., click on settings on newly exposed notification and add shutdown script to done list of scripts.
