Currently, some application display two icons for item. One is small and are placed in some edge and another is big and fill item.
Idea is to allow to switch changing these icons. 1. For example: dolphin will display file preview and in few seconds change it to format icon. Executable icon could change to game/program icon. 2. Network manager could change icons to tell more info, like information about ethernet connection and wireless connection. 3. Download managers could display download icon and next application icon. For example: update manager could display download icon and in next step application icon 4. Akregator could display akregator icon and in next step unread items count

Another use case could be:
1. Enchantment security/audio control, by displaying count of special rights window/application is in use on task manager entry. This number will be displayed instead of speaker icon or normally, if speaker icon shouldn't been displayed. If user hover mouse cursor above this task entry, icon with number should animate, displaying icons of each permission of application. It could be changed for example by two seconds. After each permission is displayed, special end list icon will be displayed and the process started from beginning. For example: microphone access, video camera access, keyboard grab access (under Wayland only?), screencasting permission, etc. You can also create icon for active/inactive of each right to tell user app only have rights to do something or actually uses some rights.
