Dolphin Replace Files confusing

Mon May 20, 2019 3:35 pm
Hi!
When you copy and replace a file it's very confusing to see which one is newer, older, bigger, smaller...
It would be great to have a window asking to replace giving this lines of text:

Copy & Replace : Source
- Size : 634 KB (Bigger)
- Date : 10-11-2019 20:02:33 (Newer)

At the end of the Size line it could say Bigger, Smaller or Identical.
At the end of the Date line it could say Newer, Older or Identical.

Thanks!

I agree with this suggestion. Also, it would be tremendously useful if the file already exists batch functionality could be a little smarter. Right now, there is:

Skip
Overwrite

In some situations though, you want to set conditions though: if smaller/if larger/if newer/if older at the very least.
