Notification clear all button

I would like to see a button that allows you to clear all notifications in the notification system tray thingy (can someone advise me as to the correct terminology).

There is, at least on Plasma 5.16, the button is on the top right of the notification pane. The option also is visible if you right-click on the tray icon.
