Security and privacy - one of main KDE goals. The Linux ecosystem have many security subsystems and utilities, but they are poorly represented in the GUI. I suggest adding the feature for easy running apps in sandbox using Firejail or AppArmor directly or any other security system:

I think, my post is related:
viewtopic.php?f=83&t=162181 Sandboxing could be configurable per-activity basis. Of course, it wouldn't be perfect, because application could order earlier started one's process to open a new window/tab and exit.
