Hello everyone,
The old KDE for Windows program has been discontinued. The project had been stagnating has been taken down I believe in 2017. However, it contained many stable and useful programs, even if based on KDE4. Instead of discarding all the effort and content, I think it will be useful to just make the programs available as a standalone installer that can manage all the dependencies. That will not require a server that selectively delivers content based on which program the user needs to install. All in all, it's not necessary to just discard all these programs that can be used on Windows. Thank you, Samiur |

It actually has continued, just not in the same fashion of trying to provide an all-in-one installer for getting KDE apps on Windows. Instead, they've been working on getting many of the KDE apps into the Windows Store. As I understand it there are already several KDE apps ready to install from there.

They probably asks to support Plasma on Windows . On Windows Vista you could use some Plasma features, if you install some extension, such like Plasma's plasmoids.

As I recall, Plasma (4) on Windows was always experimental (I used it for a while on XP, back when I used to run Windows at work, about 10 years ago). With what I understand about the current efforts, I doubt anyone's bothered to get Plasma (5) into the Windows Store.
