[Wayland][KWin] Keyboard proxy

Mon Jan 06, 2020 12:37 pm
Sometimes application shortcut are the same as desktop shortcut. Idea is to allow change application shortcut by clicking on window menu, go to specific window settings, switch to shortcut tabs, click add button, type new (source) shortcut and app (destination) shortcut.

Use cases:
Someone uses GIMP. GIMP use alt key for some purposes, but alt key was reserved by kwin. We can set source key as meta and destination as alt. When we click meta and GIMP window is activate, alt key will be send to GIMP window.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
