On my desktop I have the Notes widget and Folder view widget. When I am taking a screenshot, doing screenshare with work or people come over that I wouldn't want reading these I have to hide the applets beforehand. What I'm suggesting it to be able to hide them quickly and easily. Personally I see three ways to do this. Have a button on the widget I can click that effectively hides it until I click the button again, something in the systray that toggles visibility or simply a quick key.

If somebody knows a quick way to accomplish this right now I'm all ears.

Why do not create activity to screenshots? Do you screenshare only of your windows or main window (desktop) too?

Use virtual Desktops, widgets are desktop specific

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

This is a step closer but I like to have them on all my desktops (personal preference). I use 8 desktops and usually have most of them filled (using Window Rules to place them all on load).

Slightly different question, is there a way to achieve this programmatically?
