Right click a file in Dolphin and Outsource the storage of that file to another machine, essentially moving the file from this machine to the other machine.

Would keep a link on the current machine to the file on the remote server.

There should be various means available to accomplish this already, including plain-old copy+paste and backup and sync options.

Please describe the scenario in more detail to see if there are other alternatives worth pursuing.
