What I mean by Dynamic means Multiple Subwindows have their own tab outside Krita. Essentially, a window of its own yet congruent to the current project.
With this, you can move a subwindow/View anywhere outside, especially if you use a second monitor. There's this sense of claustrophobia when subwindows are limited within Krita. Gimp and Photoshop has this, where you open a new subwindow/View and it has its own tab outside the software. Sorry if this was already suggested or not possible but I just don't want to move to Gimp or purchase a license of Photoshop as Krita has better brush customization. |

I heard from an art buddy who uses Krita with multiple monitors that this feature is already present in last build! Both on Linux and Windows. Sadly, it doesn't work for me. I drag the subwindow to my 2nd monitor and the subwindow just disappears.
I use Windows 10 (most recent update), Nvidia graphic card (drivers up to date too). If anyone else could share experience on that feature, it would be great! |
