When updating, consider making Discover close or minimize to tray. This may be another thing to add to Discover for the oncoming 5.19 build... ;)

You can't close an app when it is supposed to run...

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Well, other programs do it. For example, the music player Clementine can be closed to tray and play music. Even Kmail does it too and updates at specific intervals when new email arrives in the background.

But I see that the tray icon is just a notifier. It would be great if Discover did have that ability to be closed, run in the background and notify when updates are complete, or prompt if a login/logout, or reboot is required to complete an update after updating.
