I didn't see any default application for image files mounting in Kubuntu so I managed to install gnome-disk-utility and create a global menu entry and a contextual menu entry to mount image files in dolphin.
I hope to see it in the next release adding the compatibility with .bin/.cue and .mdf/.mds files and more!
