I have a Kubuntu desktop pc in my living room connected through HDMI to my 40" Samsung 4K tv.

I set the resolution to 1920x1080 because if I set it to 4K and change the global scale setting some parts of the desktop are smaller/not rightly scaled, like latte-dock is smaller, even the upper panel, dolphin windows edges don't know why are bigger, some fonts are barely readable some instead are bigger. No matter how many times I played with the global scale setting and rebooting the system the result does not satisfy me.

I hope someone fixes this to bring Kubuntu/Plasma and all of the KDE apps to proper UHD (4K/8K) resolutions.
