Hi guys! I'm a newbie in here, sorry if it's a replication of a similar sugestion.
This is a sugestion about the pointer usability, the solution that KDE team developed for using the phone as a pointer for slideshow presentations. The current way of using this is by clicking a button and moving your phone through the air, so the the sensors in my phone position the pointer on the screen. I think it would be very useful to use this function by another mean. Imagine a black box on the screen with the same proportions of slideshows dimensions. It could be something like this: 1) If the user desires to point into an specific position of the screen, he touchs the black box on the phone; 2) the pointer appears on the PC screen with the same coordinates, according to the proportion. I believe this could be a solution for troubles with the phone sensors calibration, and also would be less sensible to hand shaking, and I hope this post to be useful for KDE developer team. Thanks for reading! |
