Hello!
I think it would be a nice option to have hideable elements hidden under certain window sizes. I. e. when you size down Dolphin you might want to get rid of all side bars, and when you go even smaller you might even get rid of the tool bar. So I think it would be nice to have some option for such elements saying something like ”Hide when window is smaller than [enter value]“ or something. Of course this does not only apply to Dolphin, but I think Dolphin is one of the programs which would profit a lot from being able to offer functionality on big sizes and space on small sizes. Already done? Look kilgrami Apps (ex. plasma-discover).
I think that elements should hide to tabs. When we have too big window, we could expose elements like file information, places panel, etc. When we had small amount of space, we could hide additional elements to tab of window (or window context menu - when user select this element from menu, we show it in float window or dock in dolphin's window).
