Open an executable from context menu

I like the fact that I can double click the programs (GUI) that I write and they run.
Other environments or whatever they are called don’t have this feature for some reason.

Under Windows, we can right click on an executable and the first one in the popup menu is Open.
Can you put the same thing in KDE?
